1965 / 1973 Fender Precision Black Refin With Great Long Term History

 Product Description

If you are looking for 100% pedigree, this is not your bass.  If you are looking for the best neck and tone EVER with mostly original stuff (Including electronics) this is your bass.

The bass was owned by Mike Lull.  This was Mike's personal bass.  As I recently told Mike's son very recently, I considered Mike a friend and I am honored to own a piece of Mike's gear.  We purchased this bass from a mutual friend.  This was one of Mike's players so you know its a great bass!

The neck is September 65 and all original with UNREAL and I mean PERFECT playing. Finish, logo are orig. IF the bass was refretted, it was done so well its undetectable.

The hardware and electronics are original - Tuners are orig but the screws are 1950s, bridge is orig, plate is orig (F1), knobs are orig, pots are orig 6542, pickups are undated original light grey bobbins without dates as correct.  The leads were replaced. Has the original tin shield!  The guard - this is either the worlds best repro EVER or its orig.  If the bass was 100%, I'd call it orig but when do you ever see an orig guard on a refin.

The body - The body is a 73 (no doubt) early channel route body that had an expert and I mean expert refin to 60s black.

This bass as a package is UNREAL. Plays PERFECT. Sounds PERFECT and I never use the term perfect, ever.  9.5 lbs and a HSC.
