1966 Fender Jazz Bass Trans Grey Refin Dots and Bound

 Product Description

This bass has unique history as it came from the bass player of the Laurence Welk Show – Champagne Music Makers Please, and a 1 and a 2 – I Just showed my age…  The body refin on this dots and bound ’66 is beyond super pro done.  It’s a see thru, trans, grey.  Not like a Silver Fox finish, it more like a blonde see thru type and was applied to perfection.  The neck appears to have the orig finish on the player surface of the neck BUT the headstock was definitely reshot and relogo’ed. 8.5 lbs, F130xxx sn, 6/21/66 neck pick up, matching undated tail pickup.  The neck was JUST professionally refretted by Bluesman Vintage in Nashville. The pots and guard are changed, the rest of the parts are there including the threaded bridge and egg tuners.  Comes with a nice G&G hard case.
