1979 Rickenbacker 4001

$2,095.00

 Product Description

No shes not 2400 or 2500, shes priced right.  I love this bass.  Like every bad girl that hangs in a smokey bar, shes a great dancer and had just a teeny bit of work.  This bass maybe the best playing 70s Rick I’ve had in stock in years.  She plays flawless, she has great rods and a perfect neck relief with insane action. June 79 build date, all components are there other than having strap locks and missing the bridge pick up cover as they all do. She has her OHSC.  Like all basses that have been played, she has all over player wear and patina.  Like many Ricks, she’s had a fretboard lift at the nut.  It was properly repaired as I did it so I know it’s done right.  The bass side is just about invisable, the treble side had a bit of travel (about 5/8th of an inch). Like I said its corrected right and we do not disguise our work.  If you want a GREAT PLAYING tone monster that will blow your skirt up, here it is! 9.2 lbs and I just want to mention 2 of the original knobs are missing the foils.
