Want a GREAT bass, here it is! Never broken, never reset - The head and the heel are just fine and always was. Many of these play like trucks, this one is a fine player and is actually in nice shape. Like all working man basses she's had some work. The tuners were swapped to Grovers and the shafts do not look ridiculous. It had what looks to me a moved thumb rest (not sure but most likely - see photo). The reason Im not 100% certain it was a thumb rest is because there is no outline mark from a thumb rest. The holes were filled and touched in. The push button was replaced with a 3 way toggle - The Up position is the pickup with no boost. The Down position it boost on as expected and still has a level of sonic clarity. The middle is a dub that makes communication with whales possible and had Robbie and Familyman smiling. This bass nails the late 60 British tone and the good reggae tonal dub. She plays really well and looks great with the right amount of wear and patina. This is a good one. Has a newer Epi hard case.
