1970 Sekova Vulcan Series 2 Early 70s - Redburst

It's been forever since we had a Vulcan Bass in stock and in the past month we acquired 2! My good friend Matt Nelson always says, everyone needs a good kitchy bass in the collection and these are coolest ticket. Again I will ask the question - Do you think Mr. Spock serenaded Uhuru with this bass - It is possible. lolol.... The second series differs from the first series in that it has an oval pickup vs. the rectangle and some of the trim. Regardless, its still way cool. We set this up pretty nicely. Plays well (as opposed to playing like a truck), proper neck angle, bridge in correct position (these have a habit of having the G-string off the neck). Priced right and ready to go. Comes with a new gigbag that will protect it but it doesnt zip all the way. Way cool bass that sounds actually great and plays very nicely. Shows typical wear for a 55+ year old bass. There was a finish chip on the back of the neck that we filled - Not perfect but not bad and not grabby. We like this one and you will too.
