Pull up a seat and take this all in - we have a highly original 1971 Fender Precision in BLACK. Lets get thru the questions first.
Pickguard is changed for an new aged Fender unit. The hammered original guard is included. It had garbage pots and we just installed 2x1968 pots from out secret stash and used good wire in the harness. The bass had a BadAss II installed and the original bridge is now installed. The bass was refretted long ago and presently the 1st position is a little worn but theres still about 60% left. The bass plays so good, we didnt touch it. Has holes in the body from a moved thumb rest but the guard covers it.
Pickups are original as are the tuners and just about everything else. Bass shows moderate wear but as we say, 'great basses get played'. Has a 1973 to 1977 tolex case. 8.4 lbs. 39xxxx serial.

In summary, this is a really neat bass that has seen a ton of gigs. Mostly orig, killer vibe and checks out.
