1973 Fender Jazz Bass 1973 - Sunburst

Oh do we like this bass! Plays great - Just set up and frets dressed by Matt over at 30th st guitars in NYC. Matt is my old friend and one of the industry gurus. Super nice, low action with a GOOD NECK and ROD. Cosmetically she's clean showing easy player wear and some minor age patina. The 2 areas of wear (Thumb and edge) are smooth. Components - this bass is unique and 95% original. 3 bolt 368xxx serial with a bullet rod - one of the earliest. The guard is the 73 pixilated guard that most people never saw one but it's right and real. The guard has the shallow and small bevel for the truss rod adjustment. These guards were used when the good tort plastic wasnt available and the black wasnt ready. We guarantee this is correct. Hardware is correct. The hard tolex case is original and has the correct tailed logo. The pots - when we received the bass, it had an incorrect set of pots. We installed an untouched set of 1975 (1377518) pots that we took off a 1975 refin. This bass sounds as you would expect. Plays as you would demand. This is a good one!!!
