Oh man does this bass kill! Natural player wear and patina but was loved and carefully played its entire life. Great basses get played and this one certainly was. Naturally there were some minor changed wear items but we made up for it.. See further in the description.
Nice weight at 9.2 lbs. Super nice neck and good tall frets which leads me to believe this wore flats for a very long time, she's now set up with rounds. Fresh set up and leveled and polished frets. Correct dated pickups, 635xxx serial. Nice 1.625 B-neck and superb tone. None of the wear or patina is faked and thru careful use there is no damage, just natural wear.
It does have some wear items as in changed pots, some changed wiring, changed output jack and a newer expertly cut brass nut. With the amount of hours this bass has on it, things wear out. The pick guard is an older high quality repro that most guys would not know. The giveaway is the guard is correct B/W/B but the White, its a smidge thicker than the black. No doubt someone tripped over the cord at one time and messed up the orig guard. We've all done it.. lol but true..
To make up for the minor changes, we put this in a real deal 1968 Fender case with a tail logo and metal handle. The value of the case offsets the minor changes. This bass quickly became a shop favorite. One of our guys borrowed it for a gig and stated, 'Kebo this bass kills'.
I like this one and you will too.
EVERY item sold by us has a thorough inspection and a complete set up. If the strings are stale they are replaced. If applicable if batteries are near exp date - they are changed. Nothing leaves the shop less than perfect playing condition. That is the Kebo's advantage.
