1976 - Gibson Bicentennial Thunderbird 1976 - Black - THE TRUTH! Unbroken!

Lets get the expected questions answered. Bass was never broken. Headstock and heel are issue free. Minor changes are a new truss rod cover, a new non-Gibson, quality hard case (we got this is a bag) and a replaced output jack. Only repair we see is an easy one - the bass side of the board had a tiny lift about 3/4 of an inch long and was simply reglued. We black lighted the bass - no outlines of anything of repair nature. Paint glowed original. The cellophane serial label peeled off many many years ago.

This was someones gigmeister and is heavily used. All over heavy wear, just crowned the frets, action is low and plays realllllly good. The tone as you would expect is very open. Its wooly but focused. I just used this on Rock-n-Roll Queen with my SVT and it sounded like 1970s all over again. Strap locks installed x2 and theres an extra strap button.
