We got in a nice, but not perfect 1983 AMERICAN Precision thats bone stock, plays really well and looks pretty darn good - Most important the tone on this one is just great. Early Smith era and built at the onset of the transition. Has the standard 70s tuners, the 5 bolt bridge and full sized pots. Build date stamped at January 1983. Set up nicely and freshly strung. We put it in a SKB style case but will gladly swap it to a gigbag at your request.
This bass was someone's player. Strong color, not chipped or dented up but has a few things to point out. She has 3 weather checks that we captured in the photos. Theres a small bink in the fretboard at about the 14th fret - yes you can see it in the photos (see last pic) but it does not affect playing and you really cant feel it while your playing. The front has a discoloration mark, again, captured in photos. It's an American, real deal Pbass thats over 40 years old and priced very competitively. E3 serial. Not just a good bass for the money, its a good bass. For the time its been in service, its nice. The frets are tall and proper. No scratchy pots. She's ready to go.
