Wow this one is interesting besides being a great bass.. All my years in business this is the first one we ever had in. 1 of about 50 (as reported) ever made. Very unique headless Alembic. Here's the 3 awesome things - It's light at 7.5 lbs. Its a full 34 scale that sits like a proper bass and it uses a standard string, not the double ball. The bass is unaltered and all original except for the missing, basic plastic truss rod cover. She even has the original Alembic bag in super nice shape. The bass plays really well BUT geez does this thing punch. One of my shop guys said it sounds like a very articulate Thunderbird - You will not be lost in the mix with this one. Cosmetically, the top is nice showing simple player wear and patina but no abuse or ooops damage. The back shows moderate wear as photo'd. Frets, neck, rod are all in fine shape. Nice bass at a nice price, especially for an Alembic.
