THE TRUTH - What is the truth? CAN you handle the truth? A truth is a bass with a high pedigree, has a million gigs under its belt and plays and sounds absolutely silly.

This bass has been around the block, a bar room brawler and OMG this thing is nuts. The bass is original other than a replaced output jack and possibly the side mount jack plate. She had a super pro, crazy good refret that if we didnt tell you, you may not know. Shows all over wear but no abuse. The neck is surprisingly cared for with no bumps or bruises. EVERYTHING works as expected, yes we checked the rod in both directions. Has old style strap locks from back in the day.

Has the old style bridge with a 252xx serial on the bridge plate. Jan 87 Body, Feb 87 Neck, 1985 electronics (8521), 9.9 lbs of sonic goodness. The case, to be honest we are not 100% certain it is the orig case. It may be.. Its an old proper tolex case that looks right and fits like a glove and has the orange liner. These cases were also used by Fender at the time. Stingrays are wider than P or J basses and usually will not fit a Fender case and the case fits like a glove. We don't want to say with absolute certainty but the case certainly fits the part. Its fully function and in good shape but we did add 2 replacement latches that work fine.

Cosmetically, the pics tell the story. No abuse, just honest wear. The believed 1 prior owner had nuclear sweat which cause the 'greying' of the finish. Who cares. It tells the story.
