1988 Ernie Ball Music Man Sabre 1988 - Trans Red

We have an all original old school Sabre. In fact, it's the 3rd time in 5 years we've owned it. Has the rosewood board and it's the second series with the user-friendly standard toggle rather than the 3 mini-toggles. Life long wearer of flat wounds, the frets are great. May and June 1988 dated, B02 serial, stamped in the pocket, ' B4 June 14', very nice neck pocket tightness, we let the original air out of the cavities. This is an unmessed with bass. Shows checking and naturally some player wear and patina but she is a very cool bass that has low action, super tone and playability. 9.2 lbs. We will gladly set this up with round wounds at your request. Along the way the orig case went AWOL and its in a functioning but not so pretty SKB case. We will gladly swap the case for a good gig bag. Just let us know.
