We have a KILLER 4001v63 with the long headstock and square heel.
Lets get the common questions answered - Truss rods are fine in both directions. My Stew-Mac wrench slides right in. The fret board never lifted. The tail piece has oh so minor lift that does not impede operation, reliability or set-up. Other than swapped stock strap buttons, the bass is untouched. When they removed the strap buttons, they added a hole right next to the orig screws, again we have clear pics. And yes, she still has the orig silver hard case.
The bass is set up with proper relief with minimal proper bow. The bridge is set with terrific action. The tone, its loud, articulate and what you expect. She's wearing brand new strings. Theres nothing to do except enjoy playing her.
Cosmetics, other than uniform ribbon checking and mild wear and simple patina, she's nice and clean. 8.8 lbs which is lighter than the usual 9.7 on these. This one's a sweetie.
We're pros at KBW. We stand behind every item we sell. Nothing is ever a final sale especially since you worked hard for your money. We buy so much misdescribed junk its not even funny and we promise a peace of mind experience. Thank you for your consideration.
