1999 Gibson Thunderbird 1999 - Black

Great basses get played and this bass is no exception. All over wear but no abuse! Nothing ever broken or repaired. Perfect headstock and heel. The bass presents itself way cool showing moderate back wear, a fair amount of edge wear and all over player wear and patina. This bass has quite a number of gigs on it and yes she shows wear BUT it shows careful, prideful ownership. The stock pickups and harness were upgraded with drop in EMG 35P and 35J pickups and harness that turn this from a kinda-one-trick-pony to very versatile while still retaining the Tbird personality and adding the 9v. The orig pickups and harness are not included. The EMGs were pro-installed. The button strap button was moved twice (right next to the orig hole) and we're cleaning it up (just plugging the 2 holes and a slight touch up). We are also including 2 high quality pickup rings. We can either include them on the side in a box or we will install them for you. They are not installed so no extra mounting holes but see the pics for the visuals.

The truss rod is fine. The action and neck are fine. The frets - this either has the best undetectable refret or wore flats for ever because the frets are tall and proud. Super nice weight at 8.2 lbs and has a non-orig, fully functional hard case. Early October / late September 1999 build date.
