We have a 1 owner guitar that we are selling to help settle an estate. This guitar came from our colleague Charlie who was a fellow dealer and friend to the music community for decades. When Charlie got a guitar in that was the best of the best, he pulled it for his secret stash. This is one of those guitars.
The guitar shows clean with typical chrome finish patina and tarnish. Some folks like the patina others dont so we are leaving on there and should come off with a small bit of elbow grease and some Flitz. The guitar displays little to no wear, plays and sounds really nice and has the orig hard case. At time of purchase, A Highlander Magnaphonic preamp was installed at Mandolin Brothers. The preamp is an outboard box that connects via a special 1/4 cable (the external box says it right on the face). We know the box works fine. We are not 100% certain about the transducer - Is it because it needs a special cable? Is there a battery on the guitar that needs to be changed - Honestly, We're not familiar with the workings of a tricone or did the transducer go bad? We're not sure. But like I said the pedal works just fine. Acoustically the guitar is fine, the O/P jack was pro installed. If it is a fix, it should be an easy one.
